Tour De Wolf Trails
The Tour de Wolf Trail at Shelby Farms Park in Memphis, TN is a scenic 5.6 to 6-mile singletrack loop that winds through dense oak-hickory forests, wide-open meadows, and around peaceful ponds and creeks. This well-maintained trail features mostly flat terrain with a few gentle hills, making it perfect for trail runners, hikers, and mountain bikers of all levels. The surface is primarily dirt with some rooty and muddy sections depending on recent weather. Wildlife sightings are common, and the trail offers a mix of shaded woods and sun-exposed fields. It’s accessible year-round and is well-marked with signage throughout. The Tour de Wolf connects easily with other trail systems in Shelby Farms Park, including the paved loop around Hyde Lake, allowing for longer or varied routes. With its natural beauty, solid trail conditions, and convenient location in the heart of Memphis, the Tour de Wolf Trail delivers a true escape into nature without ever leaving the city.

Weather
The race takes place during the summer months, and Memphis is known for its intense heat and humidity. Each race will begin promptly at 7:00 AM to help beat the worst of the heat. However, caution is advised, as the conditions can still be challenging. Summer storms are also common in Memphis—some brief, others potentially severe. The Race Director reserves the right to delay or cancel the event if weather conditions pose a risk to runner safety. While every effort will be made to start the race on time, the safety of all participants is our top priority.
