Wild horse Traverse is a NEW 45km destination trail running race that we are extremely excited to add to our series. This challenging point to point race starts on the beautiful beaches of Okanagan Lake, in Kelowna, BC and traverses through Okanagan Mountain Provincial Park, along the Kettle Valley Railway (KVR), past vineyards & parks on the Naramata Bench and finishes on another beautiful beach, all the way in the quaint town of Naramata.
Local time: 1:01 AM
This event is unique from others in our series, in that it only offers one distance and runners need to be comfortable being self-sufficient in remote terrain, as aid stations are limited due to remote access. While runners can expect the same quality trail selection and event vibe as our other races have, this particular race course has a unique mixture when it comes to the course. The route is challenging and has approx. 6000ft ascent and descent. We have put a lot of creativity into our finish line to make it a super fun party, that we doubt you'll want to leave.
