FULL MOON WAVE!
2018 Only! With Saturday night offering a near full moon and peaking at 11:58 p.m. we are adding in two additional races where you'll get to run under the full moonlight crossing the midnight hour! Join us for this unique opportunity to run under a full moon in the beautiful San Tan Mountain Regional Park!
The 18 Km and 9 Km (11:30pm start) will count under separate results from the normally scheduled races.

In 2018 only, this race will have the unique opportunity to "double down" with our Full Moon Wave races that will begin at 11 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. respectively to give runners a chance to actually run under a full moon at its peak brightness.
Finish any distance from the first wave and then join us for either of the Full Moon Wave races for a double down experience!
Come experience the beauty of desert trail running at night! Sinister Night Runs is the 1st race in the Insominac Night Trail Run Series. You can complete one race in the series or do all nine! All the Sinister Night Run distances are held on a 9 kilometer loop out at San Tan Mountain Regional Park in Queen Creek, Arizona. The course utilizes the San Tan, Hedgehog & Littleleaf Trails. The 27K runners will complete 3 loops, while the 54K ultra division will complete 6 loops, passing through the start/finish line after each lap! The course features smooth runnable trails with just a few rollers for fun.

We cannot produce these trail runs without the help of our amazing volunteer team. You can even help and run on race day. If yo would like to join our volunteer team, we are looking for help with event setup, aid station captains, aid station helpers, timing, and event breakdown.
