The course is 3.1 miles in length and consists of gentle trails and no asphalt. Proceeds go to Throwing Bones for a Cure, Inc. You can follow our progress, donate, participate and get some "Ossum" gear at www.throwingbonesrun.org.

Race Day Schedule
The address for this event is 191 Vance Avenue in Black Mountain, NC
Race Day Registration: 7-8am
Bib/Swag Pickup & Runner Check-in: 7:30-8:30am
Race Start: 9am
Typical finish line snacks will be available post-race.
There will be special awards for the top 3 OA male/female as well as the winners in 6 age-groups.
All runners will receive a long-sleeve shirt featuring Throwing Bones' mascot Ossum (Bones in Latin), as well as other Ossum swag.
Refunds and Transfers
No refunds or transfers will be awarded for this event after January 31, 2018. If you sign up and can't make it, you're still awesome for donating to help Multiple Myeloma research.
