Information and Parking
All distances start and finish at the Rattlesnake Bar boat launch area.
Start Times
50K - 8:00am; 30K - 8:10am; Half Marathon - 8:20am; 10K - 8:30am
Race day bib pick-up only. 6:30am-7:50am.
Parking is NOT included in your race registration. Parking is $12 to enter the Folsom State Recreation Area. Please bring exact cash and pay at the front gate/kiosk. Or use your Golden Poppy Pass to bypass parking fees.
Course
All distances will start and finish at the Rattlesnake Bar Boat Launch Area.
The 10K course will begin at Rattlesnake Bar, take the access trail up to the Pioneer Express trail, follow Pioneer Express to Horseshoe Bar A/S, continue on Pioneer Express 0.4 mi to the 10K turnaround marker and return.
The Half Marathon course will begin at Rattlesnake Bar, take the access trail up to the Pioneer Express trail, follow Pioneer Express to Horseshoe Bar A/S, continue on Pioneer Express to the notorious Meat Grinder, over the Meat Grinder segment to the Half Marathon turnaround marker and return.
The 30K course will begin at Rattlesnake Bar, take the access trail up to the Pioneer Express trail, follow Pioneer Express to Horseshoe Bar A/S, continue on Pioneer Express through the Meat Grinder to the Granite Bay Horse Staging Area A/S and return.
The 50K course will begin at Rattlesnake Bar, take the access trail up to the Pioneer Express trail, follow Pioneer Express to Horseshoe Bar A/S, continue on Pioneer Express over the notorious Meat Grinder section, continue on Pioneer Express, to the Granite Bay multi-use trail, to the Granite Bay Horse Staging Area, continue on Pioneer Express to Beals Point looping around the campground, back to Beal's Point A/S and return.
