INTRO
Thunder Chicken 100 Stage Races are an annual gathering at Camp Wyman in Eureka, Mo, in western St. Louis County, Missouri. The event was created for many adventure seekers, reuniting for a weekend of challenging races, fellowship and the opportunity to experience some of the best trail running STL has to offer!
Over the course of three days, runners will experience some of the most challenging terrain and scenic trail systems west county has to offer! Winding, climbing and descending through the rugged Rockwoods Reservation, Rockwoods Range and Greensfelder park systems with several creek crossings, past scenic vistas and bluffs through dense forest and Spring blooms!
Stage 1 - 21-ish Mi - Tour de Rockwoods Range
Stage 2 - 26-ish Mi - Tour de Rockwoods Reservation
Stage - 25K-ish - Tour de Greensfelder

Race will be hosted at Camp Wyman 600 Kiwanis Dr, Eureka, MO 63025
COURSE DESCRIPTION
Stage 1 - 21-ish Mi - Tour de Rockwoods Range
Course will start at Camp Wyman headed towards Declue at Greensfelder County Park then onto the wide gravel straight to Round House Trail, then runners will cruise the Spur Trail to Greenrock Trail with an out and back on Fox Run Trail before heading back to the wide gravel via the Greenrock Trail making their way back onto Declue and finish at Camp Wyman. Approx. Elevation Gain 3,350 feet
Stage - 2 - 26-ish Mi - Tour de Rockwoods Reservation
Course will start at Camp Wyman headed towards Declue at Greensfelder County Park, once runners are past Declue they will traverse a combination of connector trails at Greensfelder Park making their way onto Greenrock Trail and take that all the way out to Rockwoods Reservation. At Rockwoods Reservations runners will run the Rock Quarry Trail, Trail Amongst Trees Trail and a loop of Lime Kiln Trail making their way back to Rock Quarry Trail, onto Greenrock Trail and back to Camp Wyman via Declue to finish the Marathon distance. Approx. Elevation Gain 4,450 feet
Stage 3 - 25K-ish - Tour de Greenfelder
Course will start at Camp Wyman headed towards Declue at Greensfelder County Park, once runners are past Declue they will traverse the entire length of Deer Run Trail (Old and New Deer Run Trail) connect to Eagle Valley Trail, run a loop of Mustang Trail before dropping to Eagle Valley once more and running Scenic Road to Fossil Ridge Trail at Greensfelder Park before making their way back to finish at Camp Wyman. Approx. Elevation Gain 2,100 feet
*The course for all three stage races will challenge even the more seasoned trail runners amongst us! All three stages terrain ranges from steep grade to rolling hills, rocks, roots and creek crossings that will make for three days of technical trail running!

Start Time: 7AM - Check In and Packet Pickup: 6AM - 6:45AM at Camp Wyman - Cutoff time - 8 Hours
Stage 2 - Saturday, May 3, 2025
Start Time: 7AM - Check In and Packet Pickup: 6:00AM - 6:45PM at Camp Wyman - Cutoff time - 9 Hours
Stage 3 - Sunday, May 4, 2025
Start Time: 7AM - Check In and Packet Pickup: 6AM - 6:45AM at Camp Wyman - Cutoff time - 6 Hours
*Additional cut-off's will be enforced at aid stations

- Individual Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 runners will receive custom medals
- Awards will be given to overall male and female participants for All 3 Day Stage finishers ONLY.

CAMPING/LODGING
Camping is available at Camp Wyman! Runners will have access to the pool house bathrooms. There is no electric and/or water hookup.
- ONLY 1 Tent/Car/Van/Small Pop Up Camper per runner.
- Camping fees are extra and can be paid for/purchased via the Add-On tab.
- Pre-payment for camping is REQUIRED before the race weekend.
- There are other lodging options (cabins) available! Please visit the race website for more details.
THIS IS A CUP-FREE EVENT
PLEASE NOTE: TC100K STAGE RACES IS A CUP-FREE EVENT, which means there won't be any paper cups at aid stations, and there won't be any paper or plastic cups at our finish-lines. We won't be making any exceptions to this rule, so if you don't bring your own drinking receptacle come race-weekend, you'll want to pre-purchase a collapsible cup and if you don't already have a reusable soft flask to carry with you on the course (for soda & electrolyte drink, etc.), we will have the collapsible cups for purchase when you check in for the race and/or at packet pickup for $5 (quantities limited at check-in).
