Description
Both courses will use the Mid State, Spiked Buck, Tiadaghton, Pesto, Panther Run and of course, the infamous Torbert Trail to keep things entertaining. The Finish Line of both races will be handled by Falcon Timing and we'll have food and drink as usual. Just a reminder that these are not beginner courses. Please train accordingly as the 25K has over 5000 feet of vertical and the 50K has about 8000. Cut-offs are in place to ensure a daylight finish.
50K starts at 6am. 25K starts at 9am.
50K Course cut-offs are as follows: Mile 3.5 by 7:45am. Mile 14 by 11:30pm. And mile 20.5 by 1:30pm. Mile 24.5 by 2:30pm. The cut-offs are based on finishing in the daylight. 25K Course cut-offs are as follows: Mile 5.5 by 11:30am, Mile 11 by 2:30pm. And mile 13 by 3:30pm. The cut-offs are based on finishing in the daylight.
Registration
Registration opens December 16th at 7pm EST. The race is limited to 400 total runners between the two distances. The fee for the event is $75.00 for the 25K and $85 for the 50K. These are NOT entry level courses. Be prepared to take on some of the toughest trails in PA with over 5000 feet of vertical for the 25K and 8000 for the 50K. Torbert Trail awaits all runners with 4 miles left to the Finish!!!!
