Course Summary
Get ready for a fun time in Cañon City! For 2023, we have new courses AND a an epic new start/finish venue! All races start/finish at the Gunslingers Club at Royal Gorge Ranch & Resort.
All runners will enjoy scenic views along the rim of the Royal Gorge, 900 feet above the Arkansas River.
With distance options of 50K, 30K, 20K, 12.5K, 5K, and an EPIC INCLINE, there is truly something for everyone! We will also be hosting a 1 mile kids run, so bring the family.
The 55K course consists of two 27K loops. The 10K and 5K are both looped courses that head out to Point Alta Vista Trail.
The Epic Incline is your chance to showcase your leg speed on the stairs, using Royal Gorge Ranch & Resort's very own "mini" incline, starting at Gunslingers and racing down the Sweet Spot Trail before returning up the epic incline; an 87-stair breathtaking ascent.
Whatever distance you opt for, it will be a great time and we look forward to seeing you there.
