Nashville Running Company's Dry Creek Trail Races

1299 Headquarters Road

Ashland City, TN Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 10K

This Event Took Place Sun. Feb 21, 2016

Course Details

Nashville Running Company presents the Dry Creek Trail Races! Dry Creek includes 3 distance options -- a marathon, half marathon, and 10K+. This race is run entirely through the Cheatham Wildlife Management Area -- a scenic and expansive 20,000 acre natural environment just northwest of Nashville. With sections of fast, soft packed jeep roads, single track trails in the deep woods, a stream crossing, and only one significant climb (that magically becomes steeper the second time around for those running the marathon), this is the perfect course for trail pros and novices alike! The Marathon course is 2x the Half course which allows us to provide racers with Aid Stations about every 3 miles.

As for the 10K+, racers will experience all of the beauty, stream crossings, and climbs of the full and half marathon course -- with just fewer miles. Why is it called a 10K+? You get an extra mile or so for the price of a 10K -- you're welcome!

**Shirt availability are ONLY guaranteed to participants who register BY January 31.

Important Race Info

Early packet pickup will take place Saturday, February 16 from 2pm-6pm at Nashville Running Company (820 Woodland Street). Race day packet pickup will start at 6:00am for Marathon and 7:00am for the Half Marathon and 10k.

MARATHON START TIME: 7:00AM
10K & HALF MARATHON START TIME: 8:00AM

There will be water at course aid station, but it will not have cups. You MUST carry your own handheld if you plan to drink from the stations. We are doing this in an effort to cut down on course trash and keep the parks clean.

• Plan to bring and keep all food trash on your person at all times. If you are seen throwing trash on the ground, you will be disqualified from any award opportunity. There will be trash receptacles at the aid station.

Cut Off Times

• For the Marathon, there will be a 5 hour cutoff time (1:00 PM) at the Start/Finish Aid Station at mile 19. This is a hard cut off time, and all runners arriving after 1:00 PM will be asked to drop. Please be respectful of race officials if you are asked to drop - no discussion.

Event's current local time: 12:07 PM CT
