This Event Took Place Sat. Oct 27, 2018

Welcome!

Come run with us at our 10th annual Mosquito Hill Endurance Run on October, 25th 2025. Our race takes place at the Mosquito Hill Nature Center in New London, WI. Runners and walkers will journey through our 3.4 mile loop on trails in which you will travel though wetlands, prairies, a forest, and up to the top of Mosquito Hill. A great race for any trail runner of any skill level! Our trails are not technical and nice and wide.

This year we will offer a 3, 6, and 12 hour option. We also offer a low key 5k which runners can begin anywhere between 9am and 5:30pm.

Our timed events are designed to allow participants to run or walk as many miles as they desire. This is a great way to set a new mileage PR for yourself regardless of your speed!

100% of the proceeds from our run go back to the park through Friends of Mosquito Hill Nature Center a 501C3. Our race is organized 100% by volunteers who receive no monetary compensation. Please keep this in mind when deciding to participate in our event. Your race registration is a donation to a 501c3 non profit.

Awards, Course, Aid Station Info

Awards: We will be giving awards to the first place male and female for the 3, 6, and 12 hour. Due to the low turn-out of the 5k, there will be no first place awards. There are no age group awards.

Cup-less: Please bring a reusable cup as we will have no cold cups available. There is will be hot cups available for soup.

Food: All racers can look forward to 1 fully stocked aid station at the start/finish line and cold soda/water, chips, cookies, and water melon after the race. We will not be offering gels or sports drink this year as so many runners have different preferences.

Swag: All runners will receive something awesome for participating (we keep this a secret). You will also receive a cool race medal at the finish line! Please remember to pick-up your finisher swag and any awards as we do not mail them.

Course: Your course is a 3.4 mile loop that will be marked with flags and cones. You will be switching directions on each loop. Each loop has approximately 400 feet of elevation gain. The course is very run-able with very few rocks and roots.

We will have portable toilets outside for runners and the bathroom inside the building will be open as well.

Timing: Our race is manually timed. It is your responsibility to make sure that our volunteers see you and count your lap. Please remember that your GPS watch is only so accurate. We grade everyone on the same course distance which if our course remains the same is 3.4 miles. 5k runners will receive special instructions on race day to ensure they receive an accurate time.

Tents/Tables: Tents and Tables will be allowed near the start finish line for all racers. No overnight camping is allowed. Please be mindful of the space you take up so there is room for everyone who wants a tent or table.
A special note for all 3/6/12 hour runners:
This year you can run a mini lap if you do not have time to run a full lap. The mini loop is a out-and-back that equals 1/2 mile total. Please do not be dishonest with your mini loops to obtain an advantage over a competitor. If you have time to do a full loop we expect that you go back out for a full loop. Instructions will be given at the start of your race for the mini lap option.

-Please notify the timing table if you are ending your day early or leaving the course for longer than 30 minutes. Please do not leave without your race swag/awards...we do not send them in the mail.

A special note for 12 hour runners: Pacers are allowed starting at 12pm. Pacers cannot carry your things and you can only have 1 pacer at a time. Pacers can take anything that they want from the aid station and can receive some commemorative race swag. Just ask the race director.
