Description

This is a fat ass or self support run.No Fees, No Awards, No Aid, No Wimps. You're on your own to navigate and run the route while carrying or plan everything you need for your run. Celebrate Chinese New Year with this fat ass 100K! It's a single loop of 62.2 miles with about 7k ft ups and downs, all on most beautiful trails of San Diego. No course marking. You'll need to navigate and stay on course. For this year of Snake we are running counter-clockwise. The cutoff is 14hrs if you want a timed result. Note this is NOT a virtual run. You'll need to run this course on 10/4/2025 starting 6AM and finish it before 8PM if you want a finish time. It’s probably harder than any race you’ve ran so far."Hey! That was great, a fun mix of urban and trail and new category interstate highway chic." said Rob Krar about the course right after he won the 100K of Ox year.

Course Map

This year we run counterclockwise. Again no support/aid of any sort. You are on your own. Ridewithgps is strongly recommended for navigation and route planning. It's the best app I've known. You can download all kinds of files from the route, gpx/kml/fit, csv file for cuesheet, even turn-by-turn instruction with map.
