The Race
(Note: We've shifted the date/season for this race. It is now in June so it will be MUCH warmer and camping at the venue should be more pleasant!)
The Old Glory Ultra Trail Runs take you through the beautiful Appalachian Mountains and crosses the Virginia/West Virginia border several times over the duration of the course. The course is mostly double track, some single track, and only ~1.5 miles on gravel road.
The course winds through wooded mountains and the trail has numerous stream crossings. Some sections of the course are "buttery" while others are more technical. There will be 5 (possibly 6) aid stations, well stocked, and there to keep you moving.
There's camping available on site and it is sure to be a good time. This race was originally hosted on Veteran's Day weekend but we've shifted the date. Still, we seek to honor veterans, active military, and Gold Star families. All veterans and active military: Please take notice of the discounts available to you.
All runners get a piece of Old Glory headgear (trucker hat or wrap, depending on the distance). All finishers will receive an OGTR finisher's patch with velcro backing.

Old Glory is cupless.
In an effort to be more sustainable and be friendly towards the environment, the Old Glory Ultra and Half Marathon is a cupless race. All runners will need to carry their own reusable cup throughout the race to use at aid stations.
Refunds
There are no refunds for this event. We do offer deferrals to one of our other events-High Bridge 50k and Eastern Divide Ultra - or this event next year. Please contact us by June 14th, 2022 to defer. Deferrals will not be accepted after.
