Run Like a Ninja
Let's get it, Ninjas! Time to throw on your mask and go for a run. Test out your ninja running skills and get the ultimate prize; a one of kind 100 mile Running Ninja Buckle or a Running Ninja medal. Run, walk, or ninja crawl your way to the finish line and add this ninja hardware to your collection. Run your race any time in the month of May, you pick the date.

The Quest for the Buckle
Run at least 100 miles in one single continuous effort, within a 48-hour time limit, and earn the coveted Running Ninja 100-mile Finisher's buckle. Official proof of time from tracking apps (i.e. Strava, Garmin, etc.) must be received by June 1, 2020.

Run Like A Ninja Fun Run
Run your own race, your own distance; submit your proof of run/time, and receive a Run Like a Ninja 2020 Virtual Run medal. The deadline for proof of run/time submissions is June 1, 2020.

The Ninja Master
Log as many miles as you can throughout the month of May to reach Ninja Master status and receive a Run Like a Ninja 2020 Virtual Run medal. Top 3 mileage participants for the month will receive a special Run Like a Ninja award. Official mileage reports from tracking apps for the month of May must be received by June 1, 2020.
Registration Fee for The Ninja Master - $30
Buckles and medals will be shipped out once we receive proof of time. Top awards will be sent at the conclusion of the virtual race period.

Some Run Like a Ninja FAQ:
If I sign up for the 100-mile buckle quest or the fun run do I also need to sign up for the monthly mileage challenge?
If you sign up for the 100 or the fun run you will also be able to compete for the mileage challenge; however, you will only receive a buckle or one medal, not both. You will still be eligible to receive one of the top 3 awards in the mileage challenge if you are one of the winners.
How will you track mileage?
For the monthly mileage challenge, we will need runners to send in weekly updates of their mileage to update leaderboards, if they are not part of the Run Like A Ninja Strava club. For the 100 miler or fun run, you can send your official results to us at runningninjamiami@gmail.com using any tracking application.
Will my results be available on Ultrasignup?
The only results that will be officially uploaded to Ultrasignup are the rankings for the 100-mile finishers.
