Calling all volunteers! We always need fantastic volunteers and we have a volunteer program to help save you some dough. Volunteers who work a 5 hour shift will receive free entry into a future RunningLane Event 1/2 Marathon distance and shorter. Volunteers who work (2) 5 hour shifts or (1) 8+ hour shift will receive free entry into a future RL Event 50 Miler and down OR (2) races 1/2 marathon and down. Frozen Goat 4M, 15K, 30K
Please remember that all RunningLane Events trail races are "cupless races." You must have a hand held bottle, pack or or reusable cup as there won't be any paper cups at the aid stations to cut down on waste. If you don't have a reusable cup, there is the option to buy a RunningLane reusable cup at checkout for $5.
T SHIRT DEADLINE
The guaranteed Frozen Goat shirt deadline is 1/1/2024. We will have RunningLane shirts for participants in the event we run out of Frozen Goat shirts. Also, anyone who registers after 1/2/2024 will have their finisher medals mailed to them as we will have to place a re-order. Your bibs will be slightly different so that we know at the finish to wait to hand out a medal. (This will prevent someone in a longer race who finishes later in the day but also signed up for Frozen Goat way in advance to still receive their finisher medal and this will only impact those who signed up after 1/2/2024)

This race will be at beautiful Monte Sano State Park in Huntsville. Registration
The race is capped at 300 runners.
All runners who sign up for the Frozen Goat 4M, 15K, & 30K will receive a shirt, finisher medal, as well as post race chili & drinks!
Packet Pickup
Packet pickup will be at Fleet Feet Huntsville on Friday January 12th from 12-5pm. Fleet Feet is located at Carl T Jones Dr SE B2, Huntsville, AL 35802. Packets may also be picked up the morning of the race from 6:30am - 7:45am but we encourage you to get there as early as possible!
Shirts, Awards, Weather & Cutoffs
The race shirt will be a very soft tri-blend shirt.
Age groups will be: 0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+ for ALL races.
In the event of severe weather we will delay the start as necessary to avoid lightening. If severe weather threatens the entire day and does not appear to let up, we may be forced to cancel.
Average Temperatures on race day: High 52F, Low 31F
There will be very loose cutoffs in the 4 Mile and 15K. Our goal is to get more and more people into this awesome sport that is trail running, no matter what your experience level is. However, if you are not able to maintain 17:30 minute miles for 18 miles, please consider doing the 4 Mile or 15K. The 30K hard cutoff time is 5 hours & 30 minutes for the 30K.
There are no refunds, deferrals, credits or friend / family transfers on entries. We do not mail shirts or medals to participants unable to make the event as left over shirts are donated.

Aid Stations
Several aid stations will be provided on the course with everything from water, Gatorade, coke to GU, pretzels, m&ms, granola bars and more. Follow the race on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RunningLaneEvents/
For the 4 Mile there will be water only at the 2.4 mile mark.
For the 15K there will be aid stations at: 5.3 and 7.4 mile marks.
For the 30K there will be aid stations at 5.3, 7.4, 10.6, 11.6 and 14.0 mile marks.
Lodging
The best place to stay in the area is at Monte Sano State Park. They have beautiful cabins, RV campgrounds and more. Be sure to mention that you are traveling to the area to run the FROZEN GOAT!
