Chasing Rabbits is an overnight Halloween themed trail race where you complete as many loops as possible within 12 hours. The loop itself is a 5 mile distance on a mix of rugged single track and gravel service roads with +800ft of elevation gain per loop. You can choose to sign up for a single 5 mile loop or go for as many loops as possible in 12 hours. We will have special milestone awards for individuals that hit 50K, 50 miles, and 100K within 12 hours.

Course Details
The course is a 5 mile loop on a mix of rugged single track and gravel service roads with +800ft of elevation gain per loop. You can expect to see Halloween theme displays on the course.
Racers will check in and out at the Camp Wheeler start/finish area after each route and before heading back out on the course.
100K
DO you want to just commit to 100K now? We have very limited space for the 100K. The cut off is 22 hours.
The 100K will start at 12:00pm October 26th.
Please check in at 11:30am if you did not go to the optional early packet pick up on Friday.
100K Wait List Info
If you wish to join the 100K option we can get you in! Just note that if/when you finish we may need to mail you your finisher’s buckle. We only have limited on hand. If you are okay with that join the waitlist and we will push your registration through ASAP!

We will have packet pick up available at race day check in but highly recommend heading to Root Runners the day prior.
Things to Note
Bring a headlamp and spare batteries!
Trekking Poles are allowed.
Racers can receive crew support at the Camp Wheeler start/finish area only.
Drop bags are only allowed at the Camp Wheeler start/finish area.
Pacers are not allowed.
We encourage costumes but they are not required.
We will not have anyone on course scaring people.
We are a cup-less event. Bring your own water container. Examlpe, hydration bladder or bottle.
GORUCK Official Rucking Division
We excited to have a GORUCK Official Rucking Division. This division is only for the 12 Hour.
All finisher's will receive an event finisher's award as well as a GORUCK "Official Rucking Division" patch.
Requirements:
You must be registered for the "12 Hours RUCKING DIVISION"
Weight Plate Requirement: Male 20lbs/Female 10lbs
You must use a ruck or backpack. Weight vests are NOT acceptable.

The Swag
We will have custom awards for all finishers. We will also have podium awards for top 3 male and top 3 female for the 5 Mile, 12 Hour and 12 Hour Rucking division. We will have special milestone awards for individuals that hit 50K, 50 miles, and 100K within 12 hours.
Squirrel's Nut Butter is hooking up our runners with samples. Their product is the best all-natural, anti-chafe and blister prevention product available, period!
Refund Policy
There are no refunds. However we will allow transfers to another TPK race registration.
