Four races. One challenge. Earn the Slam!
The Huntsville Slam is a unique endurance challenge presented by the Huntsville Track Club, inviting runners to complete four designated races between November and January—all held right here in Huntsville, Alabama.
Register and complete all four Huntsville Track Club races, and you'll earn a custom finisher's garment (jacket, pullover, or similar—style varies year to year). The Slam is a celebration of commitment, consistency, and the community that makes our local running scene so special.
Required Races (in order):
- Dizzy Fifties 50K – November 21, 2026
- Rocket City Marathon – December 13, 2026
- Recover from the Holidays 50K – December 31, 2026
- Mountain Mist 50K – January 23, 2027
Each event must be completed within its official time limit.
How to Register:
- Register individually for each of the four required races.
- Register here for the Huntsville Slam. It is highly recommended that you confirm your registration for all four required races first!
- Slam registration closes December 5, 2026 at 11:59 PM CST. No late entries will be accepted, no exceptions. Please plan ahead!
Rules & Requirements:
- No substitutions or alternate distances allowed.
- Only the listed four races qualify for the Slam.
- If you do not finish any of the races or fail to register for one, you are not eligible for the finisher’s award.
- Slam registration is non-refundable, even if you’re unable to complete all four events.
- All finish times will be verified after each race to confirm eligibility.
Finisher Award:
Runners who complete all four races will receive a custom embroidered finisher garment (jacket, pullover, or similar). Awards will be available for pickup at the finish line of Mountain Mist, inside the lodge.
