Event Date

We are proud to begin planning for the Virginia Run For Cancer! Scheduled date will be Saturday, April 26th, 2024. Please check back frequently, as we plan to open up registration on January 1st, 2025.

Deferral from 2024 Event

If you deferred last year to the 2025 event, and wish to use your deferred entry, please email me at va24hourrunforcancer@.gmailcom.

I will confirm your deferred entry and give you instructions for how to register.

Team and Individual Registration

Team:
After testing out the new Team Registration format last year, we are excited and happy to continue with that format for the 2024 edition!

Previously, a Team Captain would need to register a team and then supply an entry code to their teammates. For the 2025 edition of the Virginia Run for Cancer teammates will register and simply notate their team and team captain during the registration process. If a team accrues too many participants, the Team Captain will be notified by the RD.

The team with the highest total miles will receive their team name on a Perpetuity Plaque which is passed between team members until the next year's race.

Individual:
If you are not part of a team, we welcome you to join as an Individual! If you would like to join a team, but are unsure of what teams are active or new to the area, we encourage you to reach out on our Facebook page (Virginia Run for Cancer) to see if any team slots are available.

Registration is $75 for individual and team members alike.

Volunteers

We are looking for volunteers to assist with lap counting. If interested, please email Tim Scott at va24hourrunforcancer@gmail.com, and CC John Olszyk at jpo2200@hotmail.com.
