Iron Ore 15K 2024
Come join us for the Iron Ore 15K at Red Mt Park and experience some of the Best Trails in the Birmingham area. This 15K course will have everything from flat Rail Trail section to technical single track Trails. The course is one continuous loop with no repeating sections. This Race takes place in June so expect the temperature to be HOT HOT. There will be a fully stocked Aid station around Mile 4 and two additional water stops as well.
There will be a 3.5 hour cutoff for the Race. That's around a 20 min mile pace. You can hike every step of this Race and finish before the cutoff. Everyone is welcome, so come spend the morning on the Trail with Friends:)
This Race is brought to you by Coach Michael Campbell with Art of Running. The idea behind this event is to bring you an awesome Trail Race that won't break the bank$$. With the Price of Races and all Events climbing ever higher and higher the Iron Ore 15K is definitely one of the best priced events out there.
But don't worry, we're not skimping on anything for the Race. We'll have male and female specific T-Shirts. This will be the Next Level 6210 T Shirt (That's the BUTS Member Shirt). And the Women's shirt is known to run Small so you may want to size up.
We'll also have custom Awards for the top Overall 3 Female and 3 Male finishers, as well as Masters and Grand Masters Awards. We are also doing First Place Female and Male Awards for 10 year age groups. As well as Finisher Awards!
When you're finished stick around for Pizza, assorted drinks, snacks and lots and lots of ICE.

Packet Pickup will be before the Race starting at 7am by the Start Finish.
