2024 entry IS HERE!
We are looking into a totally new exciting location up NORTH in Patapsco - it is a huge park. The Pickall area may be our new home base and with it, new northerly trails with less crowding and the same river valley feel! More info to come.
Running + Beer + BBQ = Be there! 25k (16 miles) or 50k all trail, and a rockin' after-party! One long trail run on varying terrain, mostly forest shaded. Everything from rock scrambling uphills to single track downhills, to mountain bike havens, numerous stream crossings and as few fire roads as possible in order to get you back on lovable dirt enlightenment. ~1700 ft of upward elevation on the 25k and 3400' for the 50k. The trails are technical and challenging, yet approachable by anyone because of our generous 25k cutoffs (we don't really have one). A great course to hike, run, or both. It's really an adventure and a beautiful park. You won't know you are 8 miles outside Baltimore. 3 Aid Stations with plenty of water and some food. Aid for the 25k will be every 4 miles, so at 4, 8, and 12. Course markings and detailed maps will be included. The after party will include 20-30 varieties of craft beer, great food, and general fun! 50k Info
Many will do the 25k, though the ultra 50k is growing more popular each year. This year we will be offering a new course that will be different, but no less challenging than previous years. Stay tuned for more details as we finalize the number and location of aid stations, etc!
Parking
Because of the new northern exposure (new start/finish at a less crowded area), parking is currently an unknown, but likely to be at the shelter where we host.
We will require that most runners and visitors make use of our shuttle buses or volunteer drivers to and from our parking area off of Rolling Rd: Park and Ride lot at I-195 and Rolling Road in Baltimore County

Bus fee and park entry are included in the ticket price. Bus shuttling will occur from 6am-10:00am. After this we will have a shuttle van which will transport people back to the Park and Ride every 30 minutes. We urge runners to arrive 1+ hr early at the parking lot, so we can transfer tons of you before the race start time with a minimal number of bus rides.
