Description:

Join us for a weekend of camping and trail running at the Agapé 100k + 50k! The course is a beautiful but rugged 6ish mile loop on a mix of singletrack and gravel trails, with a few hills to challenge your legs, and 2 separate aid stations to keep you fueled and hydrated. Some of the trails are technical and some of the hills are stout, so we’re providing a generous cut-off time of 24 hours for both the 100k and the 50k. Come experience a mountain-like trail ultra, without having to drive to the mountains!

50k runners will complete 5 loops with 6,000 ft of elevation gain.
100k runners will complete 10 loops with 12,000 ft of elevation gain.

Cut-off Times:

24 hours (starting at 8:00 am on 5/17 and ending by 8:00 am on 5/18)
Note: All runners must be on their final lap by 6:00 am on 5/18.

Registration:

Registration opens on 6/15/24 and closes on 5/13/25. There are limited spots available for each distance and there will be an early bird discount offered for all distances that ends on 1/1/25, if we aren’t sold out by then. We're also offering runners the option to donate $20 to our Hurricane Helene relief fund instead of receiving an event performance tank, and we'll be matching those donations (up to $1,000).

Note: There will be no full refunds for any registered entrant who requests to withdraw before or on the date of the Event. No bib transfers or deferments will be offered or considered. There are significant upfront costs to putting on a race of this size, and many of those expenses occur months in advance of race day. Thank you for understanding.

Pacers:

Only 100k runners will be allowed to use a pacer on the final 50k of their race. Pacer registration will open on 1/1/25 and all pacers must register and complete a waiver on UltraSignUp before registration closes on 5/13/25. All pacers must check in at the Start/Finish area before they start their pacing duties. Pacers are expected to adhere to all the rules of the race and are welcome to utilize the aid stations while they are active on the course.

Camping:

Camping from Friday night (after packet pickup) through Sunday morning (must be off-site by 10:00 AM) is included with every runner’s registration. We have a limited number of primitive campsites that are first-come-first-served, along with car/tent camping in a field located near the campsites.
If you plan on bringing crew/pacers, you must carpool in one vehicle and camp together, as we are limited on parking and camping area.
Note: Fires, alcohol, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited. Please be respectful and keep noise to a minimum after 10 pm and before 7 am. Please clean up after yourself.

Aid Stations:

Start/Finish: (Water, Electrolytes, Food/Snacks - TBA in runners handbook)

Ironwood Summit @ 2.5 miles: (Water, Electrolytes, Food/Snacks - TBA in runners handbook)

*This event will be cupless, so plan accordingly with your own handheld or hydration vest/belt.

Swag & Awards:

2025 Event Performance Tanks are included with every runner's registration, or you can decline during registration and we can contribute that $20 towards our Hurricane Helene donation fund. UltraCulture Running will be matching your donations (up to $1,000):

All finishers will be awarded a custom finisher coin to commemorate their achievement.

Special Awards will be given to the top 3 Male & Female finishers in each distance.
