Race Overview

Desert Wolf is an endurance event featuring a trail 6K, 12K, 25K, 50K, 100K, and 25K RUCK just outside of Austin Texas. The event follows 4 mile loop beginning and ending in Johnson City at Flat Creek Crossing Ranch. Immerse yourself at the Desert Wolf Trail Run, conquer the rugged trails amidst the picturesque landscape of the ranch. Whether you're a seasoned trail enthusiast or a novice adventurer, this event promises a thrilling journey through the heart of Texas. This race is a part of the Texas Legends Series.

- Surface: Dirty & rocky single & wide track trails.
- Course: Flat Creek Crossing Ranch/Pedernal Falls State Park
- Elevation: 1400ft elevation gain for 25K loop.
- Location: Flat Creek Crossing Ranch (339 Ulrich Rd, Johnson City, TX 78636)
- Weather: Historic Average 65-84 degrees weather
- Pacers: pacers are allowed on the last 2 loops of the 100k and the last loop of the 50k Signup Here

Texas Legend Series

This race is a part of the Texas Legends Series. The "Legends Series" spans all Central Texas.You can save up to 20% on the 2027 Texas Legend Series by registering for a Series Pass. Register Soon

Each pass includes all 5 legend races that take place in Texas. You can choose your distance range, get the Legendary Pass, which allows you to do the YETI 100K, Goliath's 50 Miler, Chupacabra 50 Miler, the Brazos Legend 50 Miler, and the Desert Wolf 100K all in one pass. Or, if you're looking to increase distance slowly, the Legend Up Pass is perfect to build up to a 50K at Desert Wolf.

Series Passes will be available until January 20th, 2027, lock in yours before. Once you register, we will go on our end and add you to each race in the series pass you selected. It's your responsibility to look at each race including when, where, and what. Learn more
