Important update!


New venue for 2018. Due to some much-needed construction at the sunrise day use area, our 2018 event will have a new start/finish area located at Peterson Field area. You will be given driving directions and updated race maps next week. This is still going to be an excellent venue for the 25K route including almost the entire original course. The 10K route will be completely new this year (but I think you are going to like it.) This change is a stepping stone for 2019 which I am so excited to share with you! For 2019 our race will be hosted out of the Scott's Field area which will also offer on-site rustic group camping. The possibilities for this are amazing and I am so excited about these new changes occurring at Farragut State Park

Back to our roots

The last five years have been amazing, but we wanted to get back to our roots which included fun family-friendly trail runs with a killer tailgate party. Our events are an excuse for us to get together as a trail family, push ourselves, enjoy each other's company and the beautiful outdoors.

Farragut State Park is such a great place to have a gorgeous trail run. There are miles of single track, stunning views and years of history, Farragut tends to be our most popular event.

This year at Farragut we decided to keep it simple we are offering a 10K and a 25k race. Both races are very moderate courses, perfect for an early-season race. Our post-race tailgate party will include grilled cheese sandwiches and soup from The local Deli in Hayden and don't forget we always help you quench your thirst with local beverages. 

You see we are about the friendships and companionship that trail running gives, we are not about a race medals or trinkets. I think the memories and free race photos are priceless.

We will start at Peterson Field, just follow the Trail Maniac signs to the start.
An Idaho Parks Pass is required or you can pay $5.00 at the gate.
After the race enjoy a great post race meal and beverages.

• 25K early registration $45.00. After 4/18/18 $55.00. Day of race(If we have spots) $60.00
• 10K early registration $30.00. After 4/18/18 $40.00. Day of race(If we have spots) $45.00

Located on the southern tip of Lake Pend Oreille in the Coeur d' Alene Mountains of Northern Idaho, Farragut State Park offers unique scenery, history and an abundance of recreational opportunities, including disc golf, radio-controlled airplane field, fishing, hiking, biking, equestrian facilities and even World War II history - don't miss the Museum at the Brig during your visit.

Ways to earn money for your high school cross country team:
Bring a minimum of 7 volunteers from your team and Trail Maniacs will donate cash to your cross country team.

Volunteer at an earlier race >> You get a FREE entry for any Trail Maniacs race of your choosing.

Registration/cancellation policy

 Thank you for a choosing Trail Maniacs .  We are a small, grass roots event company owned and directed by one person.  Our race entry fees are non-refundable; however we want to provide an opportunity for our runners to still participate in our series should you need to withdraw from a particular event, so we have designed the following deferral policies to support for our runners.



  • Bibs are non-transferable to another runner under any circumstance.   

  • You can move down in race distances up until the day of the event & no credits will be issued if you move down.



If you are unable to attend an event and you notify us more than 60 days out, we can arrange a 100% deferral of fees, towards another event in our series, providing it is NOT SOLD OUT.  This deferral is only redeemable within one calendar year from the time you contact us.  You can use this deferral policy towards any other race or the same race one year later.  They can also only be deferred once, to a single event and multiple requests will be declined. 

If you are unable to attend an event and you notify us more than 30 days out, we can arrange a 50% deferral of fees, towards another event in our series, providing it is NOT SOLD OUT.  This deferral is only redeemable within one calendar year from the time you contact us.  You can use this deferral policy towards any other race or the same race one year later.  They can also only be deferred once, to a single event and multiple requests will be declined.   
 
30 days before race day there will be no refunds.  No deferrals.  No exceptions.  Thank you for your cooperation
