Farragut State Park is such a great place to have a gorgeous trail run. There are miles of single track, stunning views and years of history, Farragut tends to be our most popular event. Located on the southern tip of Lake Pend Oreille in the Coeur d' Alene Mountains of Northern Idaho, Farragut State Park offers unique scenery, history and an abundance of recreational opportunities, including disc golf, radio-controlled airplane field, fishing, hiking, biking, equestrian facilities and even World War II history - don't miss the Museum at the Brig during your visit.


New this year!! We will start and finish from Scott’s field. This is exciting news, Scott’s field is a huge venue with great views of Bernard Peak, has a large shelter and can accommodate 150 campers!!! That’s right we will offer camping at the start-finish are for only $10 per night. Please keep in mind that the camping is primitive, no electricity or RV hook ups but what it lacks in amenity’s it makes up for with convince and of course the companionship of your #trailmaniacsfamily. We will have a pot luck Friday and will have the corn hole and giant janga set up for some fun games. And if you would prefer some privacy you can still reserve your camping spot at Farragut State Park (click here.)


*** New this year we have added a 5K route, perfect if you are just dipping your toes into trail running. With this new venue we will also have slightly different courses for the 10K and 25K (these will be posted in the next month or so.) But like all the races I have hosted at Farragut the routes are mild, fast and fun!

We will start at Scotts Field, just follow the Trail Maniac signs to the start.
An Idaho Parks Pass is required or you can pay $5.00 at the gate.
After the race enjoy a great post race meal and beverages.

• 25K early registration $45.00. After 2/15/19 $55.00.
• 10K early registration $30.00. After 2/15/19 $40.00

Trail Maniacs Foundation is a 501(c)(7) not for profit organization. Our goal is to create more opportunities for trail recreation in the Inland Northwest. This includes facilitating trail maintenance, educating trail users in proper trail etiquette, and showcasing new trails. In the winter our goal is to groom trails specifically for snowshoes, fat bikes, and classic Nordic ski.

Ways to earn money for your high school cross country team:
Bring a minimum of 7 volunteers from your team and Trail Maniacs will donate cash to your cross country team.

Volunteer at an earlier race >> You get a FREE entry for any Trail Maniacs race of your choosing.

Some of the volunteer roles that are available at each race:
Athlete check-in
Traffic/parking management
Timekeeping/finish line
Aid station
Course sweeping
Course marshal - help direct athletes on the course
Post race meal

Registration/cancellation policy

 Thank you for a choosing Trail Maniacs .  We are a small, grass roots event company owned and directed by one person.  Our race entry fees are non-refundable; however we want to provide an opportunity for our runners to still participate in our series should you need to withdraw from a particular event, so we have designed the following deferral policies to support for our runners.



  • Bibs are non-transferable to another runner under any circumstance.   

  • You can move down in race distances up until the day of the event & no credits will be issued if you move down.



If you are unable to attend an event and you notify us more than 60 days out, we can arrange a 100% deferral of fees, towards another event in our series, providing it is NOT SOLD OUT.  This deferral is only redeemable within one calendar year from the time you contact us.  You can use this deferral policy towards any other race or the same race one year later.  They can also only be deferred once, to a single event and multiple requests will be declined. 

If you are unable to attend an event and you notify us more than 30 days out, we can arrange a 50% deferral of fees, towards another event in our series, providing it is NOT SOLD OUT.  This deferral is only redeemable within one calendar year from the time you contact us.  You can use this deferral policy towards any other race or the same race one year later.  They can also only be deferred once, to a single event and multiple requests will be declined.   
 
30 days before race day there will be no refunds.  No deferrals.  No exceptions.  Thank you for your cooperation
