Tick Tock Ultra is going Virtual. We are also adding a September Challenge for all of our Solo Runners. This is included with your 12 or 6 hour registration.
The TICK TOCK ULTRA is your 12 hour and 6 hour lake-lapping challenge. We encourage you to do your 12 or 6 hour run at Lake Hollingsworth but it is definitely not required. What is required is that you be safe when you do your running! We will set up a method to submit your runs. To be eligible for any Overall prizes a run tracker app or watch must be submitted. Tick Tock Ultra supports the Pheel Good Foundation with a portion of each runners registration going to the amazing cause that Mary Marcia Brown keeps in Phil's honor. Relay runners are welcome to sign up for individual races as well now that we have all month. And technically you could sign up for both the 12 and 6 race races to submit for both. We will not give you multiple shirts but will be working on additional swag.
Want to Try It as a Team? — Register for the 12-Hr Tick Tock Ultra Relay! For those who want the challenge and experience of participating in an ultra marathon event, but don’t want to log the miles alone. The Tick Tock Ultra Relay allows teams of 3 to 5 to log as many laps as they can as a TEAM. One runner per team is allowed on the course at a time. Teams compete to see how many laps they can log cumulatively in 12 hours. Each team member of teams completing at least 10 laps (or 28.4 miles) receives a Tick Tock Ultra Relay Medal. Each team member of the overall winning team that races at Lake Hollingsworth ALSO wins a trophy. We have a schedule in the Questions section of registration so that we can space out the numbers of runners together at a time. If your team is not able to all come together to Lakeland or you prefer to set up your own course, you are more than welcome to do so.
We have trophies for the Overall and Masters Winners in the 12 Hour and Overall Winners in the 6 Hour. A run tracker app or watch details must be submitted to be eligible for Overall awards. Anyone that hits 28.4 miles gets the standard Tick Tock medal. We will have the new design ready soon. If you don't get to 28.4 miles, no worries. We have a smaller Tick Tock token size medal for you.
The top Relay team that completes their run at Lake Hollingsworth gets trophies and all relay teams that get to 28.4 miles get medals.
We are adding a bonus race for all registered solo runners. Tick Tock and don't stop all month long! We have added the 720 hour (30 day) so that we can post results but there is nothing to register for. We will be creating a Strava group for this challenge as well as use an Excel Spreadsheet to track your miles. This is a free and fun add-on to Tick Tock while we are Virtual this year but stay tuned for more information on weekly and random challenges as well as prizes.
