Parking

Runner Parking:
Parking for runners is scattered throughout four areas in the park. RVs are only permitted in the RV campground. If you do not secure a reservation in the RV campground, please DO NOT plan to bring one to the race.

• AREA A:
Middle Lake Day Use Area: Mile 0.5 on the course. Car access and canopies are allowed. Cars should pull in “nose first” along the tree line and may set up canopies directly behind the vehicle. Larger “sleep vans” or Sprinter-type vehicles can park in the equestrian trailer parking lot. No open flames permitted. Propane heaters/grills are allowed.

• AREA B:
Primitive Group Camping: Mile 5.5 on the course. Tents/Canopies only (No access to a car). You may set up tents and/or canopies anywhere in the campground along the race course. (The course runs directly through it.) Cars should be parked in the parking area and/or along the road. Campfires are permitted in the firepits provided (unless there is a countywide burn ban). Propane heaters/grills allowed.

• AREA C:
Open grass lot across from Mac Lake: Mile 16.5 on the course. Car access and canopies are allowed directly behind vehicle. This area is a great option for uncrewed runners. The first row of cars will park “nose in” towards the tree line. The 2nd and 3rd rows will park “nose to nose”, and the 4th row will park “nose in” along the tree line. You may set up chairs and a table behind your car and can crew yourself directly out of your car. The course passes directly by this parking lot and is only 0.2 miles from the finish line. Crews can easily walk over to the start/finish. No open flames are permitted. Propane heaters/grills allowed.

• AREA D:
Paved Path at the Start/Finish area. Canopies and crew areas may be set up along the paved path…AFTER the pavilion. If you are setting up on Friday, you may park in the paved parking lot to unload and set up your crew area. However, on Saturday, EVERY car must be parked in the designated grass parking areas across the street from the pavilion. If you are setting up on Saturday morning, you must carry/cart your supplies to the crewing area. The race course does NOT go by your car. No open flames are permitted in the parking area or along the path. Propane heaters/grills are allowed.

⁕ Please note: We are NOT allowed to park cars in the paved lot during the race. This lot must remain open to the public and registered campers who are visiting the park. Please make sure your friends, family, crew, pacers, etc., are aware of this policy. All non-runners must park completely off the road, on the left side of the road, and walk to your spectator/crew areas.

Packet Pick Up

Packet Pick-Up for the 100 miler is Friday, Jan 15, 2027, from 2 pm-7 pm at the pavilion near Mac Lake in Colt Creek State Park. There is very important information presented, and parking passes are issued. However, if you cannot make it before 7 pm on Friday, race day packet pickup is available from 5:15 am to 6:30 am.
