2023 PARK MAINTENANCE - EVENT CANCELLED
Unfortunately, the 2023 Mission Tejas event has been canceled due to major infrastructure maintenance that will close the park for the last half of 2023. Stay tuned for an exciting replacement event for the Fall and we'll be back to Mission in 2024!
TROT has offered its assistance with trail maintenance and funding to help speed up the project but it is out of the hands of the park with State maintenance and quite a large, and much needed, upgrades to the parks' electricity and plumbing. I'm sure the improvements will only make for better events and park experiences for decades to come.
Description
We are headed to Mission Tejas State Park for a 50k, 25k, 10k and 5k .Come run the tall pine trees and the amazing single track trails of the Mission Tejas State Park.
The trail runs through the outskirts of the Davy Crockett National Forest. There's tall pine trees, soft ground, and rolling single track in this lovely state park.

We have camping secured from the park so there is FREE TENT CAMPING both FRIDAY AND SATURDAY!

7:30am Start 10k 1 loop of 6.10 mi
8:00am Start 5k 1 loop of 3.28 mi
The hard cutoff is 12 hours.
