***Waivers Everyone on the property must provide a printed, signed release of liability waiver.

Course Marking:
Course Marked with PINK (33 mile out and back loops) Run 3 full loops Pink Marking, Markings will have reflective indicators for night time visual aids. Signs and striped ribbon will indicate turns.

***The 100km race is a 24 hour cutoff, plenty of time to finish.

***For the 50km Trail Race- 12 hour total cutoff Lots of time!
First 25km loop cut-off time is 1:00pm Saturday.
You must start your second 25km prior to 1:00pm.
50km final cut-off time is 6:00pm.

Aid Stations:

There are four aid stations spaced from 4 to 7.4 miles apart: Baron Ranch Trailhead (the Start / Finish, located at the entrance, Island View Aid (located at the top of the ranch along the ridge), Alisal Ranch Aid (located on the ridge before turning to Gaviota Peak), and Finally Gaviota PeakTrailhead (located right off of Highway 101).
All aid stations will be stocked with bottled water, an electrolyte drink, and carbonated beverages. Hot and cold food will be available, with vegetarian and vegan options in each category. Food items will include the traditional fare that is provided at most 100-mile runs. While the aid stations are well stocked, there are certain items that will not be available: runners are responsible for their own gels, energy bars, electrolyte supplements, medications (e.g., anti-inflammatory products), personal hygiene products (e.g., sunscreen, lip balm), and typical first-aid items (e.g., bandages, blister treatment). Those with strict dietary requirements or special medical conditions are advised to pack needed items in personal drop bags.
REMINDER: Island View 100 is a cupless race. (Exceptions are made for hot beverages and for volunteers.) 

Awards:
Belt Buckles for every official 100 mile finisher

100km and 50km will receive a finisher challenge coin.

Special awards for first over all male and female in each category. Shoes Provided by Altra to podium finishers.

Also Special Awards for top 3 in each category.

Awards will be presented at the banquet held Sunday December 7, 2025.

Pacers/Crew

This is for 100 mile and 100km Participants.

You are allowed 1 pacer at a time. They may enter in from the Baron Ranch Aid Station, or Gaviota Hot Springs Aid Station.

For the 100 mile: On Friday pacers may enter at Gaviota 2 (mile49) or 5pm, which ever comes first. Meaning if you get back to Baron before 5pm and leave there at mile 33 after 5pm, you are allowed your 1st pacer.

For the 100km: You are allowed your first pacer after the first completed 33 mile loop.

If you are caught being a mule for your runner, it will end in a DQ.

Crew is allowed at Baron Ranch Trailhead and Gaviota Hot Springs Trailhead.
During the First loop please do not arrive at Gaviota Hot Springs till after 7:30am, if you park in the state park's parking lot you must pay the fee of $5. There is parking along the road before the entrance.
