We are very excited to have the Lumberjack race back for 2026! This will be our 15th year, and we couldn't be more excited. Once again, the race will take place at the Uplands in beautiful Port Gamble. The course is a mixture of single track and some dirt roads with approximately 1350 feet of elevation per 12.5 mile loop. We offer 2 fully stocked aid station per loop with everything you will need to keep yourself going and hot food throughout the night! There will also be massage therapists and a reflexologist at the start finish area to assist the runners. All runners will receive a sweatshirt and more swag tbd! Finishers of each distance will receive custom medals, in addition 100 mile finishers will receive buckles! Any questions please email us and we will get right back to you!

Race Location

The race is located in beautiful Port Gamble, Wa. Start/finish is at the Uplands, 1/4 mile south of town on state route 104. Plenty of parking and car/tent camping will be available and room for RV"s. No running water at start/finish but there is a store in town.

Aid Stations

There will be two fully stocked aid stations 6 miles apart. Each aid station will have enthusiastic volunteers, and lots of different food choices. There will be hot food at each station, and vegan and gluten free options in addition to Tailwind!

Time Cutoffs

Regardless of the distance you sign up for you have 30 hours to complete. !00 mile runners may have a little more time depending on their lap 7 time.

Course

The course is eight 12.5 mile loops with 2 aid stations per loop (start/finish included). It is a mixture of single track and dirt roads (about 75% / 25%). There are no large climbs, but definitely lots of ups and downs. There is approximately 1350 ft per loop. the course is marked with reflective tape and reflective arrows. Pacers

Pacing is allowed after 50 miles (loop 4) for the 100 mile distance. Pacing is allowed after 50 miles (loop 4) for the 100K. No pacers are allowed for the 50 mile distance. There will be a canopy set up for drop bags after each loop.

Camping/Accommodations

There will be camping Friday night at the Uplands, however there are many new rules that Raydient (Port Gamble) have imposed. There will now be a $20 charge for Friday night camping. The parking is also more limited than in the past, so truck campers and tent camping are fine, 5th wheels and RV's please message us with the length. No running water at the start/finish but the town is 1/4 mile away. There are 2 guesthouses in Port Gamble and 3 hotels in Poulsbo (10-15 minutes from start/finish).
