The 2020 Riley Trails Marathon Events are STILL ON!
The following event rules and regulations have been put in place to keep our runners safe this year:
- Event is limited to 100 runners TOTAL for all events.
- No post-race meal.
- No food or nutrition at aid stations. We will serve water and a few other liquids.
- Rules and regulations subject to change.
COVID-19 RACE UPDATE 7/21/2020:
Due to unfortunate circumstances, we will NOT be able to Start/Finish at Benjamin's Hope for this year's Riley Trails Marathon. However, we WILL still be holding the race with the following accommodations and regulations:
• 100% of this year's course will be at Riley Trails. (Updated course-map coming).
• 100 Runners MAX for all events.
• NO EVENT START TIMES: To accommodate social-distancing regulations, we will NOT have start times for each event.
o Our staff will be at Riley Trails from 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM chip-timing for each runner.
o Runners may come and run their event anytime between these hours, understanding that 4:00 PM is the cut-off time for all events.
• Due to parking restrictions, runners will NOT be able to park at Riley Trails. To follow the Ottawa County Parks parking regulations, we will offer the following options this year for runners:
o We will be offering "valet" service of your vehicle when you get to Riley Trails. "Valets" will park your car down at Benjamin's Hope and bring your vehicle back when you are finished with your event. Valets will be wearing masks in your car and sanitizing their hands each ride.
o You may have someone drop you off at Riley Trails and park the vehicle at Benjamin's Hope and walk back to Riley Trails.
o Benjamin's Hope is located 1-mile from Riley Trails.
We much appreciate everyone's understanding as we continue to navigate these interesting times. We are doing all we can to keep our runners safe and still put on a great event.

2020 events include: Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 10k and 4 Person Relay!

NEW THIS YEAR:
All Egress Endurance events will be CHIP TIMED!
Drop bags will be allowed for full marathoners.
You can drop your drop bags off at the Start/Finish at Benjamin's Hope, and we will transport them to the First Aid station at Riley Trails where they will be located during the race.
All drop bags will be returned back to Benjamin's Hope at the finish of the race, or you may pick them up after you finish at the aid station at Riley Trails.
Charity Partners: We have the honor of partnering with Benjamin’s Hope and One17 International for this event. A percent of all proceeds will go to helping both these amazing organizations continue their mission in helping others

For 2020, the race will be run all at Riley Trails Park.
We want to note that the park will still be open to the public during our event due to Ottawa County Parks regulations. We will have signage and the trails will be marked where runners will be running so that people will be well aware there is an event taking place, however we can not legally instruct people to stay off the trails and out of the park. Please join us in showing respect and professionalism to all people at the park on race day! We take pride in "sharing our trails" and we ask that you do as well.
The 2020 Course will be as follows:
Marathon: 6- Full Loops
1/2 Marathon: 3- full loops
10K: 1-Full and 1-Half loops
4-Person Relay: Each runner will run 1-Full and 1-half loops.

SATURDAY, AUG. 8th. Anytime before you start your race. 8:00AM-5:00PM
Cancellation,Refunds and Bib-Transfers
This event will be held rain or shine! There are NO refunds for this event, you may however transfer your Bib to another runner or submit for special consideration to transfer you entry to another Egress Endurance Event. If a bib-transfer needs to take place or there is switch to any relay teams, please reach out to jason@egressendurance
