2020 events include: Marathon, 1/2 Marathon, 10k and 4 Person Relay!
The 2020 Riley Trails Marathon Events are STILL ON!
The following event rules and regulations have been put in place to keep our runners safe this year:
- Event is limited to 100 runners TOTAL for all events.
- No post-race meal.
- No food or nutrition at aid stations. We will serve water and a few other liquids.
- Rules and regulations subject to change.

All Egress Endurance events will be CHIP TIMED!
Prizes & SWAG
Each runner will receive a custom 2020 Riley Trails Marathon T-shirt.
You can purchase a customer BOCO Riley Trails Marathon Trucker hat for $25 (Option).
Prizes will be awarded to top 3 male and female runners for each event!
Prizes from: Merrell, Gazelle Sports, Engedi Salon, Scrapyard Climbing and more! (Final prizes will be announced soon!)
Drop bags will be allowed for full marathoners.
You can drop your drop bags off at the Start/Finish at Benjamin's Hope, and we will transport them to the First Aid station at Riley Trails where they will be located during the race.
All drop bags will be returned back to Benjamin's Hope at the finish of the race, or you may pick them up after you finish at the aid station at Riley Trails.
Charity Partners: We have the honor of partnering with Benjamin’s Hope and One17 International for this event. A percent of all proceeds will go to helping both these amazing organizations continue their mission in helping others

All runners will start and finish on Benjamin’s Hope’s property Address: 15468 Riley St, Holland, MI 49424. (1.1 Miles away from Riley Trials.) Runners will run to Riley Trials via paved bike path. Runners will then complete a 4.35 mile loop on mostly single track trail on the awesomely maintained Riley Trails. (Depending on your race, Marathon, ½ Marathon, 10k or Relay, you will complete the number of loops designated for your event.Marathon:5.5 loops, Half Marathon: 2.5 loops) NOTE: Half loop is 2.30 Miles. Runners will then take the bike path back to Benjamin’s Hope to exchange with their team mate and/or FINISH! (See course map below.) (*Important: ALL LOOPS will be completed at Riley Trails: 13.1- 2.5 loops at Riley. 26.2-5.5 loops at Riley.)
4-person relay: Each runner will run 6.55 miles.
We want to note that the park will still be open to the public during our event due to Ottawa County Parks regulations. We will have signage and the trails will be marked where runners will be running so that people will be well aware there is an event taking place, however we can not legally instruct people to stay off the trails and out of the park. Please join us in showing respect and professionalism to all people at the park on race day! We take pride in "sharing our trails" and we ask that you do as well.

There will be an aid station at the start/finish/relay exchange point as well as 2 other Aid stations at Riley Trials. We will have hydration, trail snacks/food and amazing volunteers and staff to keeping motivating you to the finish!
Bathrooms will be available at the start/finish/relay exchange and at Riley Trails. (We will have 1 porta-john and a permanent bathroom at the trails. Total of 2.)
There are many hotels and great places to stay within a 10 mile radius in beautiful Holland, MI!
Packet Pick up
Packet pick up will be located at Benjamin's Hope Friday night and Saturday (Race Day) morning.
All runners who register after Aug. 12 will have their event t-shirt shipped to them for FREE 1-2 weeks after the event.
You will not pick you shirt up at packet pick up as Sizes were due Aug.12 at noon.
Cancellation,Refunds and Bib-Transfers
This event will be held rain or shine! There are NO refunds for this event, you may however transfer your Bib to another runner or submit for special consideration to transfer you entry to another Egress Endurance Event. If a bib-transfer needs to take place or there is switch to any relay teams, please reach out to jason@egressendurance
